Peace, finally.I have a lot of feelings for the stories that developed around twitch plays pokemon. Among other things, I like to believe that after helping Red/Twitch beat the game, Lord Helix went back to his dormant state.
And that ATV did not make it out of the dragon fight unharmed.
Watercolour and a bit of acrylic marker. The subtle background got kinda lost while scanning, sorry. But the colors are fairly close to original.
Gym Leader Battle vs kirschtein4ever
Another hapless victim of the swarm JK :P
That was a fun match, I hope to see this challenger again real soon.

So because someone website tells me I’m not allowed to use Mega Lucario or Geneset I’m supposed to not use them ever? Fuck off with that shit.
Ah, Smogon. a system with good intentions, corrupt by imbeciles and children unable to adapt to unfamiliar strategies.
Other gems from smogon include “U CAANT PUT MORE THAN ONE OF MY POKEMON TO SLEEP U CHEETAR!!”
and “U CANT USE DOUBLE TEEM YOU FUKIGN SKRUB!”
Smogon is an unofficial rule set for competitive Pokemon battles that all those who abide by it treat as if are the official rules.
I’ve literally had one of them tell me “These are the official rues!!”
Smogon consistently bans Pokemon from their competitive play if they pose too much of a threat to other teams. sometimes this is reasonable, such as with Mega Kangaskahn, which is a legitimately broken and extremely over powered Pokemon. other times it’s because too many people cry about it, such is the case with Mega Gengar (it’s not that hard to kill, people. switch has priority over mega evolution. switch to something that can kill it before it goes mega. if you don’t have something that can kill a Mega Gengar, then that means you don’t have something that can kill a regular Gengar, and THAT means you’d have lost either way)
Smogon players (Smoggies as I call them) are elitist punks who look down on anyone who doesn’t conform to their way of playing. they’re incapable of thinking outside the box in most cases, and they call any Pokemon utilized in a creative manner “Gimmicky”
they implement these restrictive tiers that, for some reason, they say is the opposite of restrictive (guess what, if an OU Pokemon can’t take part in a lower tier battle, then that’s a restriction, and is therefore restrictive)
Smogon is where fun goes to die in Pokemon.
The only thing good about Smogon is the recommended move sets they have, and even then, that’s only good if you’re unfamiliar with the Pokemon in question
Ah, wait. I got this wrong. I thought ghost was strong against bug, but it turns out bug is not strong against ghost. Oh well. I guess I forfeit.
